A startup to accelerate the process of digital transformation in Italy and create innovative products is the solution chosen by SisalPay to create a competitive new offering on the digital payments market.
The initiative was announced by Francesco Maldari, Sisal Group Payments and Services Manager, in an interview with EconomyUp.it, the website published by Digital360 and dedicated to the open innovation initiative promoted by leading players in the marketing, digital and communication industry.
The initial investment of €20m will be used to establish a startup at the Milan headquarters of SisalPay, the payment services brand in Sisal Group, and to introduce new skills and working methods into the company.
The goal of the new Sisal Group startup? To create a new generation product that is a success in the digital marketplace because it is innovative and revolutionary.
The new SisalPay product is currently in the testing phase and new functions and new services will soon be added to make it more competitive. The project is headed by Monica Del Naja, a thirty-five-year-old management engineer with ten years’ experience, mainly in digital.
