Consequently to the separation of payments and gaming businesses, Sisal Group has appointed Francesco Durante as Chief Executive Officer of Sisal SpA, the State concessionaire, entertainment and legal gaming market leader. At the next Sisal SpA Board Meeting Durante will be co-opted as Board Director.

Francesco Durante, born in 1971, is graduated from LUISS University in Rome with a degree in Economics and Business. He joined Sisal Group in 2009 as Director of the Retail Gaming Business Unit and went on to become CEO of Sisal Entertainment too. Previously, he worked in multinational Groups including Lucent Technologies and Sara Lee, holding senior management roles in the area of finance and sales, both in Italy and internationally.
