Sisal, through its corporate solidarity programme WeDo, will be partnering with the Fundraising Festival, which will be taking place in Riccione from 5 to 7 June. “Sustainable future” is the payoff chosen by the festival to reflect on and enter into a debate about a new sustainable development model for a more equitable, inclusive society capable of paying maximum attention to diversity and the environment.
For Sisal it will be an opportunity to engage with third sector entities with regard to the growing social role of businesses and to talk about WeDo, the solidarity programme that tangibly pursues the corporate objective of building a more responsible future.
On Tuesday 6 June, at 4.00pm, as part of the day’s proceedings concerning Corporate Social Responsibility, Fabio Ventoruzzo, Sisal Corporate Communication & Sustainability Director, will be discussing “Corporate volunteering as leverage for the creation of valuable partnerships: Sisal’s platform WeDo” with other participants.

A dedicated corporate platform gives access to a network of over 30 associations and provides tangible help to those in need”.
WeDo is Sisal’s corporate solidarity programme that was launched in 2018 and is now divided into various areas: individual volunteering, which allows all employees to use up to 4 paid working hours per month to do voluntary work, group volunteering, fundraising activities and donations during emergency situations. Between 2022 and 2023, around 340 colleagues from various offices participated in the programme, for a total of 1,150 working hours devoted to volunteering.
