A special event to celebrate Sisal’s 70th anniversary, took place at Casino Aurora – Centro Congressi Palazzo Pallavicini in Rome. It was the occasion to present Sisal Sustainability Report 2015. Augusto Fantozzi – President of Sisal Group . and Emilio Petrone – CEO – were the protagonists of this special night.

There are 3,628 municipalities in Italy with a population between 1,000 and 5,000 inhabitants. Colobraro is one of these and owes its fame to the common reputation of being the " most unfortunate city in Italy." To help promote a positive image of Colobraro Sisal created the largest SuperEnalotto's "maxy system", ever made in Italy for a single country.

Totocalcio celebrates the 70th birthday of Italy's first football pools competition with a commemorative stamp to mark this historic occasion. The decision to issue the new stamp was made by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. On May 5, 1946, the first Sisal coupon or schedina was played in Italy's first football pools competition, which soon came to be known as Totocalcio.

Sisal Group decided to celebrate the relaunch of its popular game with a smile-themed party in the city of Naples, which has always been a synonym for good cheer. The event entitled "La Città del Sorriso" was organised in the old city, involving performances and animations open to everyone and an exclusive tribute to storied Italian pop group I Pooh.

Sisal's storied SuperEnalotto lottery game introduces a new formula and a whole host of novelties on January 31, 2016. Initiatives to promote the new SuperEnalotto got underway at the Food Loft, Simone Rugiati's new Milan space, with an evening launch event based on the theme of the smile, which provides the inspiration behind the new SuperEnalotto.

Sisal Group CEO Emilio Petrone made an appearance at this annual event in a conversation with Sole24ORE Vice Director Alessandro Plateroti. The discussion focused on practical examples of smooth integration between the old and the digital economies in the offering presented by the Group, which has been at the cutting edge of innovation for 70 years now.

As part of Business Culture Week, Sisal presented Play Jazz, a concert curated by Enrico Intra, the founder and musical director of the Civica Jazz Band.

Presented in Rome to an audience including Sisal Entertainment CEO Francesco Durante and Sisal AWP Business Manager and Acme CEO Alberto Sala, Smart is the new AWP ¿Made in Sisal' that looks set to revolutionise the amusement machine market.

A football match was played in Rome to support the "Beyond gaming" initiative promoted by Sisal Matchpoint and Roma Cares. The proceeds were donated to the "Liberi Nantes Football Club", the first team in Italy made up entirely of refugees and asylum-seekers.
